mmap :string

Gets/sets the xml description of the memory map. When eipc.PCCCClient#load is called, this description is used to create an object tree that can be used to directly access the attributes from JavaScript.

This is typically set after using AJAX to retrieve an xml memory map file. For an example using an EIP server, see eip.EIPSettings#mmap

Type:
  • string
Since:
  • 1.0 (WAT 2.2)

mmapFile :string

Gets/sets the name of a file in the file system of the uP device (e.g. /wat/mmap.xml) to read the memory map from if mmap is empty when eipc.PCCCClient#load is called.

It is often more convenient to use AJAX and mmap to load a memory map.

rpi :number

Gets/sets the RPI for the connection. If no traffic is received from the server after 3 RPI intervals, the connection will be terminated. Because the server only responds to requests, this means that some traffic must be generated by the application at least once every RPI interval. Setting an pccc.PCCCTag#autoRead on a Tag can accomplish this since it will attempt to read the tag at the specified interval.

Type:
  • number
Since:
  • 1.0 (WAT 2.2)
Default Value:
  • 5000
